Can anyone else believe it’s almost summer? I can’t believe June is creeping up so quickly… but I love summer and am so excited to be at the beach for some rest, relaxation, sun, and fun!

Thinking of finding  a few cute pieces for summer? Today, I’m looking forward to sharing some style inspo:  summer essentials for your boho-chic wardrobe…  You can click on the product images to shop the post!

In order to achieve the boho style, ruffled shorts, interesting prints, and denim are the way to go… I personally prefer neutrals because they can be paired with different blouses. But printed shorts are in style this season, and they are definitely a statement-maker for a boho-chic gal!

After a short hiatus from posting a blog post here, I’m happy to be back. Sorry to keep you waiting. This semester is coming to a close, and I have been submitting assignments. All the while, my moving date to Nashville is coming closer. Over the next two months, I am excited to share new content and style inspiration for you.

P.S. Today is my birthday- yayay. I am road tripping to Richmond next weekend with friends to celebrate. *sprinkles glitter all over everything *just kidding*

Hello lovely reader. Thanks for stopping by.

If spring cleaning + detoxing from clutter is on your mind, I’m right there with you. I’ve made two trips to Plato’s Closet already this season in order to consign items, and donated so many clothes. Spring cleaning can be an emotional process which has the potential to create healing, eliminate stress in your life, and even spark a major confidence boost. In my experience, I have found that a messy room represents what I am tolerating in my life, and cleaning the space creates a sense of healing those emotions. One of the greatest feelings is to live in a clean space and consign/donate clothes in order to clear space for new experiences and opportunities. Still, I am not a neat freak, but working towards that day in my life every step of the way.

Hello lovely reader. Thanks for stopping by.

Hope your Friday is off to a great start… Cheers to the weekend. Personally, after a week of being a workhorse, nose-to-the-grindstone, I am so ready to chill with friends and celebrate the weekend. As I plan my move to Nashville, I have been looking at pictures from home furnishing catalogs and websites and browsing in boutiques for inspiration on how to decorate my apartment in Tennessee. Personally, I love interior design and the process of making a space feel like home- and on an affordable budget of course! If you’re in the same boat, I thought you might like some of these pieces I noticed. Feel free to check it out!

Hello lovely reader. Thanks for stopping by.

If you’re a huge animal lover like me, you’ll definitely appreciate this blog post. I love my dog from the depths of my soul. We share an eternal bond and she is one of the most important people in my life. Yes, I used the word “people.” If you’re constantly thinking of ways to make your dog feel special, I’m right there with you. My dog is basically a pampered princess.

If your dog is one of your greatest comforts and friends, I’m sure you can relate to wanting to make them as happy as they make you. Below are a few more suggestions to add to your Valentine’s quality of life (because we’d be lying if they weren’t the definition of unconditional love this Valentine’s Day):

Do you love indie interior design? If you’re like me, you love cozy homes and the process of making your living space feel “like home.” Decorating your living space is a great opportunity to bring your tastes to life and play around with different styles of interior design. I’m a big fan of interior decor pieces from Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Etsy.

Since I’m moving into a new apartment in the next few months, I’ve been picking up little eclectic pieces here and there, have brainstormed how I would like to decorate my new living space, and what kind of furniture I will purchase. I even designed a set of coffee mugs for the new place, and found a pretty sweet deal for two sets of mason jars and pitchers at Michael’s Arts and Crafts. Pretty nifty and fun.

I decided to go for a boho-chic vibe with some romantic touches for the new place, and Anthropologie’s decor has been an inspiration in this process. With their indie quality, I couldn’t help but be attracted to their styles when planning how I will decorate my apartment. Here are some ideas to make your apartment look like it came out of Anthropologie:
